Softball Recap: East Henderson Comes Up Short

If East Henderson was feeling good fresh off their 12-6 takedown of North Henderson last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Tuscola Mountaineers on Tuesday, falling 23-1. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Mountaineers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Shelby McCall was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, one stolen base, and one double.

East Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Tuscola, their record now sits at 8-9.

When East Henderson and Tuscola next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Eagles will try to stop Chase's three-game winning streak when they meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Tuscola will challenge Pisgah and their nine-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
