Basketball Recap: Erwin Wins Going Away Against R-S Central

Erwin won against Enka last Wednesday with 69 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Erwin Warriors blew past the R-S Central Hilltoppers 69-45. That looming 69-45 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

Erwin has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for R-S Central, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Erwin and West Henderson will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for R-S Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mountain View Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
