Soccer Recap: McCormick Comes Up Short

McCormick lost to Dixie back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chiefs came up short against the Hornets, falling 11-0.

McCormick's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Dixie, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

McCormick will venture away from home to face off against Horse Creek Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Horse Creek Academy's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Dixie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Abbeville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
