Widefield has gone a perfect 10-0 against Harrison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Gladiators will welcome the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Widefield's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Harrison has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Widefield will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Canon City, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Gladiators narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tigers 3-1.

Meanwhile, Harrison fell victim to Eads and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 6-0 to the Eagles.

Widefield is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Widefield came out on top in a nail-biter against Harrison when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. Will the Gladiators repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
