The Quinter Bulldogs will face off against the Dighton Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Quinter sitting on three straight victories and Dighton on six.
Quinter's tournament run continued when they took on Ness City on Tuesday. Quinter snuck past Ness City with a 61-56 win.

It was another big night for Shea S Salyers, who went 8 for 13 en route to 22 points and eight boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caedmon Bridges, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards.
Meanwhile, Dighton blew past Rawlins County, posting an 81-40 victory. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 26 points or more this season.
Quinter better keep an eye on Daniel Cramer. He was instrumental in Dighton's win, going 13 of 22 on his way to 31 points along with five assists and three steals. Payton Redburn was another key player, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Dighton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January of 2024.
Dighton's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Quinter, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Quinter has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 27.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Dighton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
