University Liggett has gone a perfect 3-0 against Oakland Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Knights will host the Lancers at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Cass Tech hit University Liggett with a four-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights fell 6-1 to the Technicians.

Keegan Price spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Oakland Christian's offense. They lost 11-0 to Plymouth Christian Academy on Thursday. The Lancers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

University Liggett has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15-1 record this season. As for Oakland Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Everything went University Liggett's way against Oakland Christian in their previous meeting back in May of 2017, as University Liggett made off with a 9-0 victory. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
