After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Elkins, Braxton County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Midland Trail Patriots 3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Bailey Pritt and Audrey Duckworth scored all three of Braxton County's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The victory got Braxton County back to even at 1-1.

Braxton County will be playing in front of their home fans against Lewis County at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midland Trail, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 draw vs. Shady Spring on the 24th.
