On Friday, Lincoln Christian faced Fort Gibson in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Lincoln Christian Bulldogs strolled past the Fort Gibson Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 54-36. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Lincoln Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alexis Leyva, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Hopkins, who went 6 for 11 on her way to 17 points.

Lincoln Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in nine consecutive games dating back to last season.

Lincoln Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Fort Gibson, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1.

Lincoln Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 49-33 defeat against Booker T. Washington on the 28th. As for Fort Gibson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-48 loss against Broken Arrow on the 28th.
