St. Charles is 8-1 against Calvert since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. St. Charles will take on the Calvert Cavaliers. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (St. Charles has three straight victories, Calvert has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Two weeks ago, St. Charles strolled past Westlake with points to spare, taking the game 57-41.

Meanwhile, Calvert came up short against La Plata on Saturday, falling 60-34. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Warriors are ranked 111th).

Calvert's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for St. Charles, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything came up roses for St. Charles against Calvert in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 73-45 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Charles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
