Dimond faced Bettye Davis East Anchorage in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Lynx came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thunderbirds, sneaking past 7-5. This was a revenge game for the Lynx: when they faced off against the Thunderbirds last Thursday, they had to take a 5-1 loss.

Dimond's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kinsey MacDonald, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most hits MacDonald has posted since back in June of 2024.
