Football Recap: Arizona College Prep's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Skyline last Friday, Arizona College Prep came back down to earth. The Knights came up short against the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles on Friday, falling 35-14. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Although Arizona College Prep took the loss, they still got scores from Brady Barkdoll and Austin Spendlove.

ALA - Gilbert North got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Livingston out in front who threw for 205 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 33 yards and one TD. The Eagles' leading receiver Isaac Massey was Livingston's top target yet again, picking up 151 receiving yards and one score.

Having lost for the first time this season, Arizona College Prep fell to 7-1. As for ALA - Gilbert North, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Arizona College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 31-21 victory against Notre Dame Prep on the 24th. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they have also already played their next matchup, a 42-13 win against Campo Verde on the 24th.
