It was a good run, but Crossroads unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Palos Verdes Sea Kings. The shutout was out of character for the Roadrunners seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Crossroads' loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Palos Verdes, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9-1 record this season.

Crossroads will head out to challenge Viewpoint at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Roadrunners are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Palos Verdes, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Culver City on the 19th.
