New Paltz lost a heartbreaker to Marlboro Central when they met back in April, and they left with a heavy heart again on Wednesday. The Huguenots lost 16-1 to the Dukes. The Huguenots' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

New Paltz saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Maiale, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

New Paltz's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Marlboro Central, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 18-0.

As of now, neither New Paltz nor the Dukes have any future games scheduled.
