Softball Game Preview: Jordan Beetdiggers vs. Stansbury Stallions

The Jordan Beetdiggers will head out on the road to take on the Stansbury Stallions at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jordan will be strutting in after a victory while Stansbury will be coming in after a defeat.

Jordan took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Cottonwood, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Beetdiggers had just enough and edged out the Colts 3-2 on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Olivia Judd, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Stansbury came up short against Murray on Wednesday and fell 8-5.

Jordan's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-13. As for Stansbury, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 6-6.

Jordan might still be hurting after the 28-0 loss they got from Stansbury when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Beetdiggers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
