Gateway has gone a perfect 10-0 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Chargers at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Gateway is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Tohopekaliga just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 6-3 to the Tigers. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Gateway were already down 4-1.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Liberty's offense. They came up short against Osceola on Wednesday, falling 6-0.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Gateway, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1.

Gateway got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in December of 2025 against Liberty by a conclusive 12-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
