Football Game Preview: Liberty-Eylau Leopards vs. Malakoff Tigers + How To Watch

The Liberty-Eylau Leopards will be playing in front of their home fans against the Malakoff Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty-Eylau will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

Liberty-Eylau's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sabine 56-0. That looming 56-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Leopards yet this season.

Arian Taylor was his usual excellent self, rushing for 111 yards and two scores on only 12 carries, while also picking up 50 receiving yards and one TD. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 111 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Jakeis Bell, who rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

Meanwhile, Malakoff had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They took down the Raiders 24-7.

Malakoff's record is now 7-3. As for Liberty-Eylau, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Liberty-Eylau was dealt a bruising 35-0 loss at the hands of Malakoff in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can the Leopards avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
