Basketball Recap: Loara Takes a Loss

Loara lost against Segerstrom back in November of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Loara Saxons received a blow as they fell 70-55 to the Segerstrom Jaguars. The Saxons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loara's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Segerstrom, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loara will head out to square off against Western at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Loara is facing Western at the right time seeing as Western is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Segerstrom will take on Aliso Niguel in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aliso Niguel knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Segerstrom likes a good challenge.
