Volleyball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Geneva Panthers. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Geneva, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-12.

Coming up, Wayne will face off against Bloomfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Geneva does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
