Basketball Game Preview: Grace Christian Crusaders vs. Rolesville Rams

The Grace Christian Crusaders will face off against the Rolesville Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Grace Christian has given up an average of 53.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Grace Christian came up short against Concord Academy and fell 58-49. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Grace Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kaedyn Cole dropped a double-double with 27 points and 12 boards. The matchup was Cole's fourth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ka'Maree Butler, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Rolesville was able to grind out a solid victory over Wake Forest on Tuesday, taking the game 57-48. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won six in a row.

Grace Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Rolesville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Grace Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Rolesville in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 72-70. Do the Crusaders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
