Basketball Recap: Jenkins Gets the Win

It was close, but on Tuesday the Jenkins Warriors sidestepped the Eau Gallie Commodores for a 37-34 victory.

Several Commodores players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaiah Cuff, who posted 15 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Caden Hodges, who had five points and eight boards.

The win got Jenkins back to even at 1-1. As for Eau Gallie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Jenkins will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Windsor Forest at 7:30 p.m. on the 5th. The matchup will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Eau Gallie, they are taking a road trip to challenge Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
