Baseball Recap: Wyandotte Comes Up Short

Wyandotte fell victim to Sumner Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Sabres, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Sabres: they've now lost nine in a row.

Wyandotte saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Mascorro, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Wyandotte's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Sumner Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Sabres beat Wyandotte by a score of 6-4 later that day.
