Basketball Game Preview: Mogadore Wildcats vs. Smithville Smithies

Mogadore saw some tournament action on Friday. They secured a 57-52 W over Black River.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Smithville on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Bard Early College out of the water with a 67-26 final score. The Smithies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Smithville is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points over those games. Mogadore's win bumped their record up to 9-13.
