Baseball Recap: Indio Comes Up Short

Indio's last matchup with Tahquitz could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Indio Rajahs came up short against the Tahquitz Titans, falling 13-2. The Rajahs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Indio saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Hernandez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Those two hits gave Hernandez a new career-high.

Indio's record now sits at 2-8. As for Tahquitz, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indio will challenge La Quinta at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tahquitz, they are taking a road trip to square off against West Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
