Sundown had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against the Seagraves Eagles by a score of 8-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-7 on Monday.

Sundown pushed their record up to 11-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Seagraves, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sundown will host New Deal at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Roughnecks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
