Baseball Game Preview: Selinsgrove Seals vs. Mifflinburg Wildcats

The Selinsgrove Seals will challenge the Mifflinburg Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither Selinsgrove nor Mifflinburg posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Selinsgrove is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They came up short against Danville, falling 12-2.

Selinsgrove saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Beddall, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Mifflinburg had taken Milton down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. Mifflinburg fell 4-1 to Milton.

Selinsgrove's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mifflinburg, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Selinsgrove's way against Mifflinburg in their previous meeting back in April of 2022, as Selinsgrove made off with a 10-2 win. Will Selinsgrove repeat their success, or does Mifflinburg has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
