Hondo entered their tilt with Natalia on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They beat the Mustangs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-2. The Owls have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Anthony Garza was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Josiah Quintanilla was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Hondo pushed their record up to 11-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Natalia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Hondo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-2 victory against Cotulla on the 4th. As for Natalia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-4 loss against Lytle on the 4th.
