Warren and Long Beach Poly squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Warren had to settle for second. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackrabbits. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Long Beach Poly, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Long Beach Poly, they will face off against Monache at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jackrabbits' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Marauders have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
