Baseball Recap: Utica Ford Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Utica Ford had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans by a score of 7-2. Seven seems to be a good number for the Falcons as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Aiden Gillich spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Christian Tracy was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Bradyn Brubaker, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Utica Ford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.

Utica Ford's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Sterling Heights Stevenson, their defeat was their tenth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-17.
