Recap: Greenfield-Central Cougars vs. Greenwood Woodmen

The Greenfield-Central Cougars put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Greenwood 66-47. Given Greenfield-Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Greenwood is ranked 234th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Greenfield-Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dallas Freeman out in front who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Freeman is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Braylon Mullins, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Greenwood lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jake Mosemann. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with two steals. Isaac O'neal was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.

Greenfield-Central pushed their record up to 18-0 with that win, which was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Greenwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-13.
