After a string of four wins, White Plains's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sylacauga Aggies. The shutout was out of character for White Plains seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

White Plains' defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Sylacauga, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

White Plains wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Weaver on the 7th. As for Sylacauga, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Valley on the 8th.
