Soccer Game Preview: North Kitsap vs. Quincy

The North Kitsap Vikings will square off against the Quincy Jackrabbits at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

North Kitsap is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Bainbridge just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 4-2 to the Spartans. While losing is never fun, North Kitsap can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Bainbridge are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Quincy had no problem doing just that on Saturday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Jackrabbits who were credited with the victory. Quincy got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to West Valley's three. The win made it back-to-back victories for Quincy.

Quincy's win bumped their record up to 13-8-1. As for North Kitsap, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 15-4.
