Valley is 9-1 against Hope Christian since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will head out to take on the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Valley lost 21-14 to Valencia on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (11), the Vikings still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Hope Christian fell victim to Albuquerque Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 10-0. Considering the last time the Huskies couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Hope Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Melody Dahlinger Venuk, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Hope Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Everything went Valley's way against Hope Christian when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Valley made off with a 19-9 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
