Meanwhile, sadly, Girard is still looking for their first win of the season after four matches. Their rough 23-0 defeat to Fort LeBoeuf on Tuesday might stick with them for a while.
Fairview's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for Girard, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
Fairview took their victory against Girard in their previous meeting back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 15-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fairview since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
