Boise faced Eagle in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Brave took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Brave have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Boise lost, don't look at Katelyn Huck. Despite the final result, she had 23 digs and three assists.

Boise's loss dropped their record down to 20-14. As for Eagle, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-13 record this season.
