Football Recap: Hubbard Greyhounds vs. Goode STEM Academy Knights
Hubbard was the 40-6 winner over Goode STEM Academy when they last played one another back in September of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Hubbard Greyhounds fell just short of the Goode STEM Academy Knights by a score of 24-21 on Saturday. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Goode STEM Academy found their leader in underclassman Aedan Cleveland, who rushed for 223 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry.
Hubbard's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Goode STEM Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hubbard will host Lindblom at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lindblom will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Goode STEM Academy, they will be playing at home against Corliss/Butler College Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
