Baseball Recap: Valor Preparatory Academy Comes Up Short

Valor Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-6 to the Bracken Christian Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-5 back in March.

Valor Preparatory Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Duke G, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Ben Brown was another, scoring a run while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Valor Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bracken Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valor Preparatory Academy will face off against St. Paul at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Bracken Christian, they will head out to face off against San Marcos Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
