Marietta's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wheeler Wildcats. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Despite the loss, Wheeler saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brooklyn King had 11 digs. King has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played. Player #11 also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Marietta's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Wheeler, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-26 record this season.

Marietta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Etowah on the 8th. Wheeler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
