Newark Memorial barely beat Kennedy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Titans on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won ten games in a row.
Addyson Waterhouse made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one double.
In other batting news, Mahlyah Sao was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. Nouvelle Bennett was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Newark Memorial's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Miramonte, their victory bumped their record up to 18-7.
