Basketball Recap: Lincoln Charter Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Lincoln Charter came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bradford Prep Bears 47-21. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Bears are ranked 484th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Lincoln Charter to victory were Taylor Riggenbach and Symphani Stevens. Riggenbach dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten steals, while Stevens almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 16 rebounds. Stevens has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Brenna Barbier, who posted eight points in addition to five boards and three steals.
