San Benito has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hanna recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Greyhounds will head out to challenge the Golden Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

San Benito came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-0 to Harlingen.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Hanna took on Los Fresnos on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The shutout was out of character for the Golden Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Hanna saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Ruiz, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Hanna has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for San Benito, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

San Benito was able to grind out a solid victory over Hanna when the teams last played back in March, winning 6-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Greyhounds since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
