Soccer Recap: Wauseon Takes a Loss

Wauseon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Oak Harbor Rockets, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Wauseon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 453rd, while Oak Harbor are ranked 120th).

Wauseon's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Oak Harbor, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 11-2-3 record this season.

Wauseon didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 7-1 defeat against Liberty Center on the 9th. As for Oak Harbor, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Huron on the 9th.
