Basketball Game Preview: Rosehill Christian Eagles vs. First Baptist Christian Warriors

The Rosehill Christian Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the First Baptist Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Rosehill Christian fought the good fight in their overtime game against First Baptist Christian on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to the Warriors.

Rosehill Christian better keep an eye on Rachel Froedge. She was instrumental in First Baptist Christian's win, putting up 22 points. Froedge is also crushing it when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: she's posted at least one every time she's taken the court this season. Illyria Scott was another key player, posting 12 points.

The win (which was First Baptist Christian's sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points over those games. As for Rosehill Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
