South Fulton is 6-1 against Peabody since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Red Devils will take on the Golden Tide at 5:00 p.m. South Fulton is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Things were looking good for South Fulton after they put the first run on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Gleason by a score of 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Red Devils have suffered against the Bulldogs since April 20, 2021.

Alli McFarland was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Gabi Long was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Peabody suffered their biggest loss since March 18th on Friday. They came up short against Ripley, falling 14-2. The Golden Tide haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Peabody's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for South Fulton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12-1.

Everything went South Fulton's way against Peabody when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as South Fulton made off with a 12-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
