Volleyball Game Preview: Milton Red Hawks vs. McFarland Spartans

The Milton Red Hawks will challenge the McFarland Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Milton didn't have quite enough to beat DeForest and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, McFarland had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Reedsburg on Saturday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was McFarland who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 18-25, 16-14.

McFarland's victory bumped their record up to 16-19. As for Milton, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-12.

Milton skirted past McFarland 3-2 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Will the Red Hawks repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
