Sylacauga takes loss despite strong efforts from Revish Bardwell and Cj Franklin

Recap: Sylacauga Aggies vs. Central of Clay County Volunteers
After flying high against the Lincoln Golden Bears on Saturday, the Sylacauga Aggies came back down to earth. Sylacauga took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central of Clay County on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Sylacauga's loss came despite strong showings from Cj Franklin and Revish Bardwell. Franklin scored 14 points along with seven assists, while Bardwell scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and seven steals. Those seven assists set a new season-high mark for him. Erick Oneal was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Sylacauga's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Central of Clay County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sylacauga will take on Jemison at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central of Clay County, they will head out on the road to face off against Horseshoe Bend at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
