Volleyball Recap: Silverado Skyhawks vs. South Pasadena Tigers
Silverado had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Pasadena Tigers. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.
Skyler Pangelinan paced Silverado's offense, picking up three kills. Pangelinan got some help from Kiechi Watanabe and his six assists.
The victory made it two in a row for South Pasadena and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Silverado didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Cimarron-Memorial on the 1st. As for South Pasadena, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Somerset Sky Pointe on the 28th.
