Baseball Recap: Memphis Business Academy Comes Up Short

Memphis Business Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 18-1 to the Trezevant Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-6 back in March.

Memphis Business Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Norris Thomas, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Thomas has been hot, having posted two or more stolen bases the last five times he's played.

Memphis Business Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Trezevant, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6-1.

Coming up, Memphis Business Academy will venture away from home to take on Sheffield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trezevant, they will host KIPP Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
