Northeast skates past Fort Campbell with ease

Recap: Northeast Eagles vs. Fort Campbell Falcons

The Northeast Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Fort Campbell 63-15 on the road. The victory was some much needed relief for Northeast as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Leading Northeast to victory were Krista Brandon and Qimara Summers. Brandon scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Summers scored 15 points along with seven steals and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brandon has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jorian Crozart, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.

Northeast's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Fort Campbell, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast will take on Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Campbell, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Dawson Springs at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kentucky (Dawson Springs is ranked 261st, while Fort Campbell is ranked 259th).
