Pendleton County waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Tucker County Mountain Lions 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcat, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-15, 25-20.

Pendleton County's offense was headlined by Brynlyn Waggy and Colbie Wimer, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Carolyn Varner and her 12 assists. Breena Bowers and Alyssa Bennett kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Pendleton County's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Tucker County, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Pendleton County will venture away from home to face off against Moorefield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tucker County, they will welcome Pocahontas County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
