            Baseball Recap: Nipomo Titans vs. Morro Bay Pirates        
        
		
        
        
            Nipomo extended their losing streak  to three  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 9-15 in the process. They lost  8-0 to the Morro Bay Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pirates this season,  with their most recent  defeat being a  6-1  loss  on Tuesday.
As for Morro Bay,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 20-6. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won nine contests by eight  runs or more  so far this season.
 For Morro Bay's part,  Quentin Crotts and  Cruz Wilkinson did most of the damage at the plate:  Crotts  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  RBI, while  Wilkinson  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. That's the most  doubles  Crotts has posted since back in March.  Odin Grafton also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  run of the season.
 Nipomo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morro Bay, they will venture away from home to  take on Taft  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
